Attention @everyone! 💙 We’ve got a big update to share, and a lot of things got some love this patch. We’re really excited for you all to dig in! Here is everything you need to know:
⚔️ Battlefactory Has Been Revamped!
Battles and rewards have been reworked to feel more meaningful and intentional within what the existing battle AI can do. We wanted to give you a system that actually rewards your dedication.
🏆 Monthly Leaderboards
There are now monthly leaderboards for the top 3 streak holders, so you’ve finally got something real to work toward!
💎 How Rewards Work
- Win a Round: Every round you win earns you 1 battlepoint.
- Hit a Streak: Every 5th round gets you a bonus 5 battlepoints on top of that.
- Check the Details: See everything with
/battlefactory!
🛠️ Battletower Has Also Been Revamped!
No more falling through the floor. No more lag from too many NPCs packed into one area. We heard you, and we fixed it!
- Smoother Experience: Performance issues have been ironed out for a much cleaner run.
- Reworked Rewards: Each win now gives $2,500 and 2 battlepoints.
- Streak Bonus: Every 5th round bumps that up to $5,000 and 5 battlepoints.
🔧 Pokebuilder Revamp!
Pokebuilder has been optimized, cleaned up, and made more efficient overall, but the exciting part is the new feature:
- Raise Battle IVs: You can now raise battle IVs directly in Pokebuilder!
- Be Clear: These are battle IVs, not breeding IVs. Think of them like bottlecaps, but more accessible.
- Fill the Gaps: They’re priced to cover the gaps that bottlecaps couldn’t always reach. This one’s been a long time coming! 🙌
🎉 New Emojis!
We added a whole bunch (3,000+) of new emojis to the server. Use /emoji to browse and go absolutely feral with them. You’re welcome!
⚠️ Wild Bosses Temporarily Removed: Unfortunately, wild bosses had some persistent bugs and performance issues we couldn’t work around right now, so we’ve pulled them for the time being. The good news? 1.8 is bringing in alpha Pokémon, so that wild encounter energy isn’t going anywhere for long! Thanks for being here and for your patience as we keep building! 💙 As always, if you run into anything weird, drop it in the cobblemon bug reports channel.
